NOMUNA NARY & SISHU KALLAN FOUNDATION was established in 2013 as an NGO by a group of professionals who have interest for voluntary activities to Skill development Training, Education, Non-formal education, Health & Family Planning, WASH, Hard to reach children education etc. NOMUNA NARY & SISHU KALLAN FOUNDATION is the joint effort of a few local self-devoted young men and women, social works from various academic disciplines.
The issues of human rights, gender, and good governance are always given a strong focus under its programme. Almost all of the training courses that NOMUNA NARY & SISHU KALLAN FOUNDATION offers for community-based organization’s staff and target beneficiaries focus on these issues.
NOMUNA NARY & SISHU KALLAN FOUNDATION has been involved in raising awareness of human rights reducing gender disparity in local government and helping marginalized people to create pressure on decision makers at the local and national level. NOMUNA NARY & SISHU KALLAN FOUNDATION promotes the empowerment and socio-economic advancement of youth through supporting local level initiatives, holding training programs of gender issues, promoting public awareness of women’s rights, and undertaking advocacy to increase women’s participation in local governance and other development process.

02.1 Institutional Strength:
The organization started its activities to support the local grass-roots communities to promote and strengthen native initiatives for self-help development. 02.2 Recruitment Committee:
Staff Recruitment Committee (SRC) comprises of Executive Director, Director Program and one EC Member. They are responsible to recruit the general and project staff as per human resource procedure of the organization.
02.3 Procurement policy:
The organization has formed a central procurement committee of 3 members (a Program Director from head office, concern technical person & administrative person from concern offices). The Executive Director forms this committee by issuing office circular.
02.3 Programme Management:
NOMUNA NARY & SISHU KALLAN FOUNDATION has a Project Management Team (PMT) comprising all the program heads generally supervise the regular activities. NOMUNA NARY & SISHU KALLAN FOUNDATION manage all its activities according to the constitution, Human Resource Policy, Financial Manual, and Operational Manual, Gender Policy and other ad hoc policies/rules and regulations.

03.1 OFFICE SPACE AND FIELD OFFICES:
NOMUNA NARY & SISHU KALLAN FOUNDATION has well decorated 2 training Centers and 08 professional & highly experience trainers in the proposed project areas, every training Centre space of 1000 square feet located in Barisha, Borguna, and Dhaka districts. The organization has been conducting training on Computer training & Mobile servicing and others IGAS activities. There is a big training/conference room with an well decorated rooms. The offices are full furnished with furniture, fixture and equipment’s (FF&E) items including Motor Cycle and Bicycle for the field staff and there is ample scope to conduct different training (field based) in the fields offices.

NOMUNA NARY & SISHU KALLAN FOUNDATION was established in 2016 as an NGO by a group of professionals who have interest for voluntary activities to Formal & Non-Formal education, Early childhood education, Street children education, Disabled children education, Slum children education, Working Children education, Hazardous child labour education, adult education, non-formal education, NFPE education, Hard to reach children education etc. Home gardening, Fishery and Socio-Economic Development Training Program, HIV AIDS, Health Program, ICT, Family Planning and Nutritional condition of the disadvantaged people/Disable people of the Country. In this respect, the goals & objectives of NOMUNA NARY & SISHU KALLAN FOUNDATION have been clearly spelled out in the constitution of the Organization. It clearly bears evidence of the non-political nature of the Organization.

NOMUNA NARY & SISHU KALLAN FOUNDATION has an approved constitution. On the basis of prepared and submitted constitution the Government ministry offices approved that constitution and permitted legal status of the organization. In the constitution, there is a clean provision of Executive Committee that is to be elected by the general members periodically and that system is continuing since starting. For strong transparency & active participation for policymaking an EC (7 members from different segment of population) is working. All the norms are mentioned in the constitution that is being followed by the organization.

The day-to-day activities of the organization are conducted by the Executive Director. Executive Director is directly reportable to Executive Committee. Executive Committee is comprising seven members. The Executive Committee is headed by the Chairman and is responsible for all works of the organization. The organizations management system is participatory. There is a system of accountability in syndicating well-coordinated function of the organization and implementation of the projects undertaken by the organization. As one of the busiest NGOs of the country, the lengthy pool of professional staff, almost all of them have undergone in-house and/or external training course in their respective disciplines.

After successfully completed 200 youths dated from 2018 to 2023, about 80% trained learners created jobs the deferent Companies/industries/ production centers and Non-government and Government organizations.
NOMUNA NARY & SISHU KALLAN FOUNDATION’s Lessons Learned:
NOMUNA NARY & SISHU KALLAN FOUNDATION has successfully completed 200 participants in 8 batches on Computer & Mobile Servicing, Life Skill Education, Computer Office Management, Business Development, and Livelihood Skill Training from 2018 to 2022. In the meantime 80% graduates have already been engaged with employment/ self employment. Total 12 Nos of Instructors got sector/ trade wise skill development training whose are capable to implement their competency in developing sustainable livelihood skill training.
Lesson learnt through implement the project was:

⦁ The trades of training selected learners were socially and economically profitable.
⦁ After the training, learners have been able to utilize their skills and improved their lifestyle.
⦁ Through the training they came out from their previous hazardous traditional livelihoods and poor earning situation
⦁ The members of the families now take the opinions of the training graduates since they are now providing financial supports
Job placement and tracken after project period:
NOMUNA NARY & SISHU KALLAN FOUNDATION has long experiences providing jobs to the training graduates. The organization implemented the training project last 05 years 200 learners and provided jobs 80% graduates. The partner organization having a separate unit on Job Placement & Follow Up that is responsible to provide suitable jobs to the graduates, ensure support services and tracking them for a certain period.
The Organizations job placement unit searched potential employers in the project area. The unit arranged area-based seminars with the potential employers where the objectives and outcomes of the project briefed and supported from the employers to arrange jobs for graduates. An employers’ database prepared at the local level that used during the time of job placement.
05 Availability of Appropriate Skills among Staff:
NOMUNA NARY & SISHU KALLAN FOUNDATION has senior professionals & highly qualified on ICT, Life Skill Education. A good number of staff is working under the guidance of the Team Leader. The responsible person as well as other staffs of this desk have monitoring & report writing skills and capacity. On the other hand, the staffs are also familiar with computer operation and Internet utilization. Beside this, NOMUNA NARY & SISHU KALLAN FOUNDATION has highly qualified consultant who have long experience in the field of formal and non-formal education. They are providing technical and consultancy support for program development and implement project activities effectively. The organization has relevant experts and staff who are capable enough to implement ICT project .

NOMUNA NARY & SISHU KALLAN FOUNDATION is an efficient and highly client oriented non- government organization. It is working both in urban and rural areas. The organization has 09 area offices and project offices through which the project can be implemented easily in its working areas. Every area office has at least 2/3 rooms and has all sorts of logistic facilities like computer with internet facilities, mobile phone, motor bikes etc. The offices are well organized with the necessary office materials and equipments. The head office, area offices and project offices are well organized and running smoothly. NOMUNA NARY & SISHU KALLAN FOUNDATION has well established office in 05 districts through which the organization can easily implement the project.
⦁ Materials & Equipments:
NOMUNA NARY & SISHU KALLAN FOUNDATION has necessary office materials and equipments for running the office activities and sharing with others. The resources are properly being used for lasting long and reducing the establishment cost. All the permanent and project staff are receiving necessary support from the materials and equipments.

⦁ IT Facilities:
The head office of NOMUNA NARY & SISHU KALLAN FOUNDATION is well organized with IT facilities. The organization are utilizing IT facilities not only for receiving latest information but also for connecting other networks. The organization has developed internal computer networking system. It is mandatory for the Coordinator and their subordinate to operate computer and preparing necessary reports by using their own desk computer.

⦁ Training Facilities:
NOMUNA NARY & SISHU KALLAN FOUNDATION has training centre with accommodation at Barishal & Dhaka. The training centre is decorated with modern equipments and materials. The space of the training centre is sufficient to gather 25 people at a time. NOMUNA NARY & SISHU KALLAN FOUNDATION provides staff training for motivation, knowledge and skill to work in the most effective and efficient manner. Both beneficiaries and staff training are arranged based on the demand of the organization.
Have at least two years working experience, after registration, in the field of Training NFE/Literacy/Livelihood skill training/Formal Education:
NOMUNA NARY & SISHU KALLAN FOUNDATION is working with basic literacy and skills development training for nineteen years through different project title at different corners of the country. NOMUNA NARY & SISHU KALLAN FOUNDATION is one of the well known NGO of NFE in the country.
